Two articles about Stevens Worldwide Van Lines recently were featured in Direction magazine, a publication of the American Moving & Storage Association.
The American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA) is a non-profit trade association representing interstate moving companies across the United States. AMSA members, like Stevens, must adhere to a code of ethics which promotes honest, ethical, efficient and quality services to the public.
One article featured Morrison Stevens, Sr., chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Stevens Worldwide Van Lines. With the feature “In My Experience,” Direction regularly highlights individuals who have a notable career and have made an impact on the moving and storage industry. The article highlights Mr. Stevens’ more than 40 years at the company that his family started in 1905.
The other article highlights Stevens’ agent Executive Moving Systems, of Woodbridge, Va., which serves the greater Washington D.C. area. Executive Moving joined the Stevens’ nationwide network of agents in 2009 after operating as an independent moving company for 18 years. Although Executive Moving won the 2008 AMSA Independent Mover of the Year award, administrators at Executive decided that becoming a Stevens’ agent was the best way to move their company even farther.
