Stevens Worldwide Van Lines, a nationwide supplier of premium household goods moving services, is seeking a charismatic self-driven candidate with excellent leadership and sales skills who will be responsible for proactively recruiting Moving & Storage Agents building partnerships.  Provide consulting directly to Stevens Agents with focus in real estate sales development and training.

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • BS in Business or Marketing
  • Minimum five years sales/marketing experience
  • Three years previous sales management experience
  • Previous recruiting experience in M&S preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills for groups of 20-50 attendees.
  • Proven ability to work independently and to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS office suite, CRM)
  • This is a home office opportunity requiring 60% travel

This position has dual responsibilities to recruit new agents informing them of the full array of Stevens product and service offerings and development of affinity /real estate partnerships for agents. New Business Development (agent recruiting) is the key component of growing our agency network. The sales cycle is long (usually six months to one year), proactively building and managing Real Estate partnerships within agents designated geographical region.

 

Agent Recruiting

  • Aggressively pursue qualified commercial, domestic and international, full service agents to provide sales, service and operational coverage within a designated target market.
  • Pre-qualify and initiate visitation on all prospective agent leads or inquiries developed from all resources (prospecting, call-ins, referrals, and website responses).
  • Develop and maintain prospect recruiting plan(s) on an individual agent basis
  • Pipeline development and forecasting based on target market agency segmentation.
  • Develop and execute recruiting / informational campaigns for one-to-many agent segments
  • Utilize SalesForce.com on a daily basis to input business development & recruiting pipeline, track affinity accounts, and utilize reporting functions.

Agent Development

  • Liaison for internal and external communications with assigned agents, manage ongoing conference calls, web casts and ensure a positive relationship with assigned accounts.
  • Provide regular status reports and support agent development training on affinity programs and realtor relationship selling.
  • Manage agent development using CRM or automated tools / trackingand communication vehicles.
  • Provide Sales training for sales detail calls and identify and provide any appropriate sales materials through collaboration with Marketing.

Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:

This position is responsible for managing relocation Consultants and administrative staff including hiring, training, coaching and serve as escalation point for issue resolution. Will work collaboratively with internal departments. Oversight of coordination for relocating transferees to ensure seamless service delivery.   In this dual role 50% of the duties include personal case load providing relocation benefits counseling for corporate transferees from start to move completion. Processes required paperwork and performs input of information required for dispatch and move file. Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills required. Previous experience in the moving industry/relocation services a plus.
