We proudly serve Sterling, VA and the rest of Loudon County.
Sterling is located near the northern tip of the state and is a small city, having less than 30,000 residents as of the 2010 census. Sterling is home to the Sterling Field Support Center, where weather instruments are researched, tested and evaluated for the National Weather Service.
Claude Moore Park occupies 357 acres in Sterling and includes three main areas. Claude Moore Recreation Center contains an Olympic-size indoor pool, a children's pool, an exercise area and gymnasium. The sportplex includes baseball and softball fields and the nature area has hiking trails. The last known undeveloped section of the historic Vestal's Gap Road also runs across the park. George Washington used the road to travel between Mount Vernon and the western frontier.
