Stevens Launches “Pink” Social Media Campaign

While October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Stevens Worldwide Van Lines continues to support the cause throughout the entire year. Stevens Worldwide Van Lines donates a portion of each residential, non military, relocation annually to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. In addition, the van line donates for every mile its custom pink moving truck travels while providing services to moving customers.

Contributions are also made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation on behalf of Stevens International Forwarders for all residential relocations occurring on an international level each year.

For the second time this year, Stevens launched a social media “blitz” as another way to raise funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation while simultaneously expanding its own brand. The first social media campaign took place in February to blend the “pink” associated with breast cancer awareness with Valentine’s Day.

The cornerstone of the social campaign is that for every page like that the Stevens Facebook page receives, a donation will be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Social media posts are not only posted on Facebook but also on Stevens’ Twitter and Google Plus accounts as well; the additional social media accounts lead back to the Facebook campaign.

During the first campaign in February, Stevens was able to grow its Facebook page audience by 41%

“The fight against breast cancer is intensely personal for our employees and agents,” commented Stevens Worldwide Van Lines president Joe Biskner. “Many of us have been touched by breast cancer directly or indirectly and as a fifth-generation family-owned business, we are committed throughout the year to supporting this cause each and every day.”
