Rob Gronkowski, tight end for the New England Patriots, is investing some of the money he earned from a recent contract extension in a new home. According to The Boston Globe, Gronkowski has purchased a Tampa, Florida, residence for $1.6 million.
In June 2012, Gronkowski signed a six-year, $54 million contract extension with the Patriots that will keep him with the team until 2020. Gronkowski bought the Tampa residence five months later, and the house features plenty of amenities for the tight end to enjoy, including four bedrooms, an infinity pool and a premium surround sound system.
