Late comic's longtime home reaches real estate market

The longtime residence of Phyllis Diller, the late actress and comedienne, has been listed on the real estate market in California. This Brentwood residence is available for $12.9 million, and was Diller's home from 1965 until she passed away on August 20, 2012, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Fans of Diller might appreciate this house. The 9,266-square-foot home features an upstairs gallery filled with Diller's artwork, including acrylic, oil and watercolor works. Additionally, this residence includes eight bedrooms and five bathrooms.

However, the kitchen might be the home's main attraction, and Perry Diller, Phyllis Diller's son, said he recalls this space being the most popular spot for visitors.

"[Phyllis Diller] was a great cook, and [the home's kitchen is] where a lot of the activity was," Perry Diller said. "We'd sit down [there] and giggle a lot."

Relocating to a home like Phyllis Diller's former estate requires tremendous hard work and effort. When people need assistance, they can look to relocation movers for support. A relocation and moving company employs qualified, trained staff who will safely move a person's belongings to his or her new residence.
