Houston-based company leaving its headquarters

Many local governments are offering businesses incentives to leave their current homes and relocate to new cities. For instance, the Katy Area Economic Development Council and the Greater Fort Bend Economic Development Council recently convinced Entrust, a Houston-based company, to move to Katy, Texas, according to the Houston Business Journal.

The news source reports that the management consulting firm will occupy 22,500 square feet in a new building. Entrust is expected to bring at least 85 of its current employees along in the move. Katy is relatively close to Houston, so some workers may be able to stay in their current homes without experiencing a lengthy commute.

Other employees will require moving assistance so they can live close to Entrust's new headquarters. Many companies help staff members by hiring corporate relocation companies like Stevens Worldwide Van Lines.

Professional state to state movers reduce the number of stressors that employees have to face while relocating for work-related reasons. People are concerned about their lifestyle changes and can't spend time worrying about packing all of their prized possessions.

If your company is moving to a new headquarters, call Stevens so your employees can quickly move into their new homes.
