National Guard opens new headquarters

The National Guard recently opened up a new headquarters in Massachusetts. The facility has been operational since November 5, according to a statement from the Massachusetts Governor's office. The headquarters is located on Hanscom Air Force Base and focuses on improving the National Guard's eco-friendly practices.

The new facility is also part of a Massachusetts effort to combine public and private resources with the armed forces. The headquarters will ultimately result in the creation of approximately 18,000 jobs, which will be a boon for the commonwealth, as it has been struggling to improve its overall economic situation.

Some service personnel may be moving out of state to live closer to the National Guard's headquarters. Military moving services from Stevens Worldwide Van Lines can make the entire process simple for those who are given permanent change of station (PCS) orders to report to the new facility.

Experienced movers from Stevens can ensure that all household goods are safely transported to your on-base or off-site residence. You won't have to worry about the safety of your belongings, as they'll be packed and shipped with the utmost care.
