New York-based federal credit union plans relocation

CAP COM Federal Credit Union, a financial agency in Colonie, New York, intends to move its central headquarters. According to the Times Union, company officials plan to build a new primary operating building within the town.

"Right now, our primary goals are to plan for future growth and meet [the] needs of our members. That's part of the reason we are so excited to be staying," company CEO Paula A. Stopera told the news source.

The credit union's last relocation took place in 1988, but the upcoming move promises to be significantly larger. CAP COM's financial assets have increased tenfold since that time, and the business currently boasts about 93,000 members.
