After more than 100 years at its current headquarters in Akron, Ohio, the staff members at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. are finishing last-minute preparations for an upcoming relocation. The Akron Beacon Journal notes that Goodyear workers are moving to their new headquarters in Akron early next year, and these employees are quickly preparing their belongings for the big day.
Pete Buchanan, Goodyear's director of human resources, said the company is still determining what it will do with certain items, including its furniture.
"We had a lot of associate inquiries about some of the furniture, what were we going to do. This is all surplus," Buchanan told the news source.
