Durata Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical firm currently based in New Jersey, plans to complete an out-of-state move. Crain's Chicago Business reports that Durata Therapeutics will take its corporate headquarters from Morristown, New Jersey, to downtown Chicago by the end of 2012.
The move could have major repercussions on the business. Durata Therapeutics intends to have only a couple dozen employees at the Chicago location when it first opens, but plans to increase its workforce to more than 100 staff members within three years.
"[We] look forward to recruiting many experienced employees to join our Chicago-based team," company CEO Paul Edick told the news source.
Out-of-state relocations might appear to be uphill climbs, even for companies that only need to move the possessions of a limited number of employees. However, these staff members can receive top-notch assistance for the big day from an experienced moving and relocation company. A business can give its employees extensive, world-class support by employing the professional relocation movers at Stevens Worldwide Van Lines.
