Grocery store chain plans central headquarters relocation

C&K Market, an Oregon-based company that runs a chain of grocery stores, intends to relocate its central headquarters. The Medford Mail Tribune reports that C&K Market will move its primary office from Brookings, Oregon, to Medford, Oregon, which is approximately 126 miles east.

"We're getting to the size of [our] company where it is kind of difficult to keep everybody at the size of facility we have in Brookings," Greg Sandeno, the grocery chain's chief executive officer, told the news source.

With the move, C&K Market, which operates 65 grocery stores and 13 pharmacies, will attempt to increase its outreach and revenue.

Moves are rarely short-term fixes for companies because many businesses see their relocations as opportunities to expand. These companies can take the first step toward enhancing their operations by hiring professional relocation movers like the crew members at Stevens Worldwide Van Lines to handle their employees' belongings on the big day.

The professional movers at Stevens offer packing assistance and make it easier for your workers to safely move their possessions between locations, so that your business can get started on the right foot at your new central headquarters.
