In the move to relocate its headquarters to the Denver area, cookie and treats purveyor Mrs. Fields Famous Brands is hoping to incorporate lessons learned by other companies who've made similar moves.
"Denver has a willingness to share information, and we think that adds value to this organization," CEO Tim Casey told the Denver Post.
The information Casey is referring to comes from other Denver-based casual food providers such as Quiznos, Chipotle and Boston Market. With established infrastructures and a great deal of Denver-specific experience, Casey said he believes these companies will be able to offer invaluable advice.
"Denver fulfills that with a business environment that is rich in franchising, brand development and fast-casual and QSR (quick-service restaurant) support infrastructure," said Casey.
In addition to the consultation, the company states that Denver will allow it to grow and expand. The business will be moving into a 9,600 square-foot office and plans on hiring 50 new employees from the area, according to the Boulder County Business Report.
In order to make the most of the new space and the information from like-minded businesses, the move must go smoothly. When moving out of state to new headquarters, the assistance of corporate relocation companies can help keep everything in order and on schedule.
