Stevens Worldwide Van Lines will provide movers and trucks on Monday, Jan. 10 to pack and move office furniture, kitchen equipment and many other items to the new Salvation Army building in Bay City, Mich.
The Salvation Army is moving to a new 10,517-square-foot location which will house its chapel, soup kitchen and other services. The expanded facility will allow Salvation Army to more than double its capacity for its lunch and dinner services. In the new location, the organization intends to expand the meal service to six days a week from four days.
Stevens and the Salvation Army have a long-term business and philanthropic relationship. Stevens is a preferred mover for Salvation Army employees nationwide.
